Be nice to your Moon Dragons; they´re very sensitive. As hatchlings, they´re picked on by other dragons because of their ´crater faces.´ These lunar lizards never develop a smoother complexion, but most grow to love their faces in time. Contrary to popular belief, Moon Dragons are not actually from the Moon, though they are remarkably similar. For instance, the Moon only comes out when the Sun has set, and Moon Dragons (like all black dragons) only appear once the Second Sun has set. One foolish Caretaker once attempted to fly to the moon in a sleigh with eight adult Moon Dragons harnessed to it. Moon Dragons are capable of flying at very high altitudes, so the Caretaker actually got up to pretty thin atmospheric levels. At this point, he realized he did not bring an air tank, and he turned his sleigh around. Moon Dragons are even more massive than their large frame suggests. The wings and legs of an Epic Moon Dragon are exceptionally strong to keep the gargantuan creatures moving. In fact, Epic Moon Dragons are so massive, they pull in small objects into orbit around their bodies while in flight, creating small moons of their own.
