Additional Leopard Dragon Information
The Leopard Dragon was one of the first breeds discovered by early explorers to the Dragons' sanctuary. One explorer, eager to make his mark upon this newly revealed species, hurriedly named this dragon based on the spots upon its hide. However, the breed contains few feline qualities, having a beaked snout and large, claw-like feet.
In this stage of the Leopard Dragon's evolution, the dragon begins growing its long tail. While the end of the appendage is not wide enough to assist in the dragon's flight, it does provide balance to help the dragon land on its feet when falling from high altitudes.
When the Leopard Dragon begins growing its horns, it must assume responsibility as a defender of the pack. When it encounters predators, it lowers its head and charges the attacker. The tiny horns are rarely large enough to cause harm, but are at least annoying enough to encourage predators to find easier prey.
With an imposing size, expansive wingspan and toned physique, the Epic Leopard dragon is as fierce a dragon as you will find. Its preferred method of capturing prey is to lie and wait in the sky, hover over its target, and then pounce on the unsuspecting meal below.
